Phreatic Zones

At the Marian Goodman gallery, we helped artist Cristina Iglesias build her vision of a hidden river running under London. The task required accurate surveying and planning as we temporarily raised the gallery floor – using a bespoke system engineered by ourselves – a full 500mm to allow for the bespoke handcrafted pools to lay underneath.  

Time and effort also went into producing a paint finish that matched the slabs of the London pavements outside the gallery, as Cristina wanted to ‘bring the outside in’.
