Thai Embassy

HLD worked in collaboration with UberRaum Architects, winners of a competition held by the Royal Thai Embassy, to redesign the public sections of their South Kensington building. 

LED-lit patterns in the joinery enforce a feeling of traditional craftsmanship with a modern edge, and each detail, from the motifs to the opulent gold colour scheme,  was used to produce something that feels authentically Thai.
